The History of Chinese New year

Chinese New Year is some of the most important day for all chinese. The celebration also known as 春節 Chūnjié (Festival Musim Semi / Spring Festival), 農曆新年
Nónglì Xīnnián (Tahun Baru), or 過年 Guònián Or sin tjia.
Outside China, this celebration is known as Imlek. Imlek (阴历 : Im = Moon, Lek
= Date), this word come from Hokkian people or the mandarin is known as yin li or Lunar Date. All the country seems celebrated it because 1/5 peoples are chinese. Celebration of Chinese New Year is celebrated on the 1st to the 15th in a calendar month of the Chinese calendar which combines the calculation of the sun, moon, two yin-yang energy, or the astrological zodiac constellations, 24 seasons, and 5 elements. (Spring Festival).
The Meaning of This Celebration
This celebration begins on the 30th month of the 12th and ended on the first 15 months (Cap Go Meh). Her show includes Lunar prayer, worship to Thian, and the celebration of Cap Go Meh. Chinese calendar systems were developed in the third millennium BC, supposedly discovered by the first legendary ruler, Huang Di, who ruled between the years 2698 BC - 2599 BC. And further developed by the fourth legendary ruler, Emperor Yao. Cycle of 60 years (gānzhī or Liushi jiǎzǐ) began to be used in the second millennium BC. A more complete calendar established in the year 841 BC the Zhou Dynasty by adding a double application of the month and the first month beginning one year close to the solstice of winter.

Because the sun's movement is used to calculate Jiéqì (season traits).

Based on the stories and legends of ancient rakyatr, China celebrated the new year when the Chinese managed to fight mythical creatures known as Nian, which means the year in Chinese. Nian creatures always appear on the first day of New Year and the arrival of Nian is devouring livestock, agriculture and even eat the population, especially children.
